Assignment

Goals
The purpose of this homework is to learn to define a real data science project including data collection, pre-processing, and analysis steps using project management techniques. (100 points)
Assignment
Complete this assignment in a word document, with sections that correspond to the requirements below.
Report (2 pages maximum): Describe the project that you proposed in homework 1 in terms of data science
1. Updated Description of the Project
2. Elevator Pitch
3. Updated Project objectives
4. Project scope
5. Data analysis and Solution (with updated workflow sketch)
6. Outcome of project
7. Include as an appendix the original description that you wrote for homework 1 / 5, which you can update it based on comments or new understanding making sure you highlight your changes in red font
1. Updated description of the problem — These are the questions you posed about the data in the earlier homeworks and your motivation to pose those questions
2. Elevator pitch — An abbreviated description of the problem (#1 above) summarized in 1-2 sentences.
3. Updated project objectives — This is a description of the datasets that you will be using, and the pre-processing that you would need to do.
4. Project scope — This is a brief discussion about things that you would NOT address in your project.
5. Data analysis and solution — This is the kind of data analysis that you plan to do, and the workflow sketch showing the analysis steps.
6. Outcome of the project — What you would expect to result from the project (for example a new product, an extension of an existing product, a new recommendation, etc)
***Items 1, 3, & 5 were already part of Homework 5. You should use what you wrote there, updated as needed.

Provide also a simple mitigation approach.

Cyber threats are becoming more prevalent in the aviation domain, and many of them could have significant safety implications. To mitigate the risk, simple replication of components is not enough, because two or more identical components can be compromised at the same time by exploiting a common software vulnerability. This is one of the clear cases in which a common cause (exploiting an existing software vulnerability) could disable, at the same time, both the main controller and the secondary one, and thus transitioning the controlled system directly into a failed state. Provide argumentation on the common cause analysis approach to be used from the three covered in this module: Particular Risk Analysis, Zonal Safety Analysis, Common Mode Analysis. Provide also a simple mitigation approach.

Limitations (4pt)

There could be two types of proposals:
– For experimental Materials/Devices – based research (tangible)
– For Modelling/Algorithm – based research (intangible).
According to this, there are two types of Experimental sections – you only need one section in your proposal – chose the one that is relevant to your type of proposed research.
If you chose to have an experimental validation to your model/algorithm you could add this as well, but not as detailed as in materials/devices proposals. Please just outline this in the evaluation/validation proposition.
Your Research Proposal should contain the following sections (points allocated to each section):
Title (2pt)
Abstract (10pt)
Introduction(12pt)
Significance (Rationale)
Connection to the current body of knowledge
Gap/s leading to need for your project
Aim, Expected Outcomes and Research Questions (16pt)
Study Design/Approach (20pt)
Experimental (for proposed Materials-Centred Study): Materials, Instruments and Methods (24pt)
Experimental (for proposed Modelling/Algorithm-Centred Study): Underpinning Theoretical Framework, Algorithm/Model Development method/s, Algorithm/Model evaluation and validation) (24pt)
Data Analysis Methods (6pt)
Limitations (4pt)
Timeline (4pt)
References (2pt)
Please follow the format given in the Template file. Min margins are Narrow as per Word setting: Top 1.27cm, Bottom 1.27cm, Left 1.27cm, Right 1.27cm. Use Narrow only if you absolutely lacking space!
Please note that:
The proposal should strictly be three pages (see the above Templates, References (could be on p.4 if needs be).
Start with Title
Insert the subtitle for each sectiobcin, as given in the

For the literature review write only about r134a and r1234yf in cooling and refrigeration.

For the literature review write only about R134a and R1234yf in cooling and refrigeration.
ignore any other refrigerants or heating mode.
Concentrate on the result and conclusion about
• the difference in Coefficient of performance (COP), cooling capacities, compressor work or energy consumption between R134a and R1234yf refrigerants in cooling only.
• Also write about the difference in thermophysical properties between R134a and R1234yf.
• Write about each article separately
• Halfbci page for each article

The online course that I am currently doing does not give enough examples on put brainstorming, concepts, synectics or weighted objectives into a report. I’ve tried the best I can but Ive had a rough few months and time is running out to complete the assignment. I have started the report but its not whebcire it needs to be.

There is no r&d section for the selected business.

There is no R&D section for the selected business. West Boylston Brewery. I need to make recommendations to R&D using the bullet points stated in The file attached. I am also going to attach the previous business report sections we’ve been working on so you can understand the story line. But just to be clear, that paper is just for reference, the only thing I need is the R&D section done. That is all but it does need to be consistebcint with the rest of the business report.
