Create an atmosphere of interaction by posting meaningful responses that advance and expand the depth of the discussion.

Certainly, there are many file types in today’s computing world. We may be grossly oversimplifying if we try to think of them as “merely” sequential or not, or human-readable, or not.
Do some research on the Internet and see what information you can find about the explosion of file types. Some commentators suggest that much of the details about file types will disappear from the normal users’ point of view, as icons and apps replace our way of thinking about how we name and use the pieces of our systems. Does this make sense? If so, Why? What is the rationale?
After exploring the different file types, discuss what surprised you the most about files and file types? From a file type perspective, what do you think the future might hold?
If you use additional resources to help in developing your discussion post, be sure to provide proper citation for your source. Generally speaking, your responses should be two to three paragraphs (about 300 to 400 words).
Create an atmosphere of interaction by posting meaningful responses that advance and expand the depth of the discussion. If you’d like to use additional resources (such as from the Internet) to help in developing your discussion post, that’s great–just be sure to provide a proper citation to your source, and use your source, don’t just quote from it!
